Easy Installation with EZ- Connectors

Don’t let your RF interconnect be the weak link in your system. Our LMR® low-loss coaxial cables provide optimal performance up to 8 GHz, covering almost every wireless application. LMR cables are available in constructions and sizes for many environments and loss budgets. Our X series connectors are tri-metal plated for excellent corrosion resistance, are IP-67 rated and do not require trimming of the braid wires.

Combining the LMR cables and X series connectors with our termination tools and WSB boots makes installation simpler than ever.  Watch Now!

RF Interconnect Solution for Complex Antenna Installations

I'm an image

Airborne antennas must be mechanically secure in interference-free locations and in areas where signals can be optimally received. Simple right? Not really. Often, these locations are in hard-to-access places or exposed to extreme conditions. In this webinar, we will outline options to ease your installation, save money, and more.

Q: I'm using LMR cable for my cold-temperature application with vibration.  Which connector should I use? The EZ or the TC options?

A: When working with any LMR cable we recommend the spring-finger (EZ) connectors. The EZ pin eliminates many variables such as pin-core gap, potential melting of the foam dielectric, cold solder joints, excess solder and flux residue. The EZ also offers an advantage with applications involving extreme cold and/or vibration. When a long run of cable is subjected to extreme cold, the center conductor may contract slightly due to its thermal coefficient. The EZ pin design will allow for slight movement of the center conductor without any impact on VSWR. Also, problems that can wreak havoc in a high-vibration application, such as brittle eutectics, cold solder joints and improper solder volume, are eliminated with the EZ design.
